What to expect from an Indian Head & Neck Massage Treatment

At the first treatment a medical history will be taken. Once the consultation is complete, you will be asked to remove your hair accessories, glasses or contact lenses, all jewellery from the face and neck. For this treatment the client can either be dressed (treatment without oils), or undressed (treatment with oils). You will be seated and the treatment will involve massage of the upper back, shoulders, upper arms, head, face and neck

The full treatment session will last approximately 40 minutes.

Pre Treatment Advice

Please do not:

* Eat a large stodgy meal before treatment
* Drink alcohol
* Participate in hard exercise
* Rush before a treatment, be in a calm state of mind

If you follow these simple rules you will find that your Indian Head & Neck Massage treatment is more beneficial.

After Treatment Advice

* Drink as much water as you can over the next 24 hours to help the body to eliminate waste and toxins
* Take it easy for the rest of the day if possible
* Do not fight any emotions, as they are a normal reaction of the body to treatment
* Do not drink alcohol or use drugs unless prescribed by a doctor
* Try to avoid heavy meals
* Try not to smoke for at least twelve hours to allow the body to detoxify itself

Treatment Effects

Indian Head & Neck Massage cannot cause illness. Mild reactions are different for each person and may vary on each occasion. Any transient reactions should be regarded as a positive indication that the body is re-balancing and cleansing itself.
